Jay Fitzgerald

Jay begins his first season at All Saints coaching the women’s varsity soccer team.  He just completed his 24th year in 2022 as the head coach for the women’s varsity team at Nolan Catholic High School, coaching over 600 games for the Lady Vikings with a career record of 431-152-53, all 635 games at Nolan Catholic.  He holds a USSF ‘A’ License Coach on staff with US Soccer working in the Market Training Centers, identifying top female players in the area for consideration for youth national teams, and is also involved with the US Soccer national team programs.  He helped the U21 Women’s National Team to a Nordic Cup Championship over Norway in 2005 with the likes of Carly Lloyd and Megan Rapinoe. 

At Nolan Catholic, he took his teams to the State Final Four 15 out of the past 19 years – 7 District Championships; 17 Regional Championships; and 12 State Runner-Up finishes.  His team advanced to a record 36th TAPPS State Final Fours gaining National recognition ever since 1999.  The Lady Vikings have been National Ranked every year since 1999.  ESPN has had the Lady Vikings as high as #3 in the Nation in 1999.

As a staff coach for the Solar Soccer Club, the #1 ranked youth soccer club in the country, Jay coaches in the ECNL and ECRL, with responsibilities for all the goalkeepers in the ECNL platform.  The ECNL is the top girls’ youth league in the world.

 Jay is an owner of Roxo Media House and one of the founders of JATO Athletics, an outsourced athletic department and resource dedicated to advancing athletics throughout the country. Fitzgerald also had an outstanding playing career in college and professionally. He played at Creighton University from 1991-1995. He played professionally with the Dallas Burn from 1996-1997, with the Sacramento Scorpions (A-League) in 1997, and with the Texas Spurs of PDL in 1998. Additionally, he played with the U23 National Team for the Olympic Festival in 1996. He graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Science from Creighton University.  Jay graduated high school from The Oakridge School in Arlington.
