James Russell

A native of Colleyville, Texas, James is a former pitching coach for the Cleburne Railroaders. Before coaching, James attended Navarro JC before transferring to the University of Texas where he earned All Big 12 honors. In 2007, James was drafted by the Chicago Cubs and played 11 years of professional baseball, with 7 years in the major leagues with the Chicago Cubs, Atlanta Braves, and Philadelphia Phillies.
