Spring Sports Update
April 17, 2020
Dear All Saints’ Family,
This year has been filled with some wonderful moments. We have seen our seniors lead teams to playoffs, undefeated seasons, and some fantastic games. There have been walk off runs, late night comebacks, teacher appreciation nights and more. After Spring Break, our sports season took a pause to make sure the health of our students, family, and teachers remained a priority.
With the presidential plans shared yesterday and Governor Abbott’s address this afternoon, all schools are effectively closed through the end of the school year. In keeping with this order and the health interests of all involved, TAPPS moves to the conclusion of our Spring activities.
Sadly we don’t always get to craft our final moments of a season. This year is no exception. We want to thank our seniors and their families for their dedication over the past four years. This is a special group of leaders and students. Many are going to continue their careers athletically, all will continue their academic trajectory at their respective schools. You all have left your mark and we can’t thank you enough.
Our staff is working on how to best honor our 2020 seniors for their dedication to athletics and our school. Please be on the lookout for the ways we will be celebrating the final moments of the 2019-2020 school year.
Take each moment to spend together. We are so proud of all our athletes and know that next year the teams will come back ready to take on the next adventure
Seniors and senior families, this is not goodbye, this is a see you later. You all are a huge part of defining what is great about being Saint. Continue to Protect the Family, your own individual and our community as a whole.
With Great respect,
Coach Beck and the entire Athletic Staff.
