Saints Field Hockey had a battle Saturday at TAPPS Field Hockey State Tournament. The team played extremely well, falling just short to Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart out of Houston, finally losing 0-1. The game was close and the team fought incredibly hard.

The girls had a great season lead by senior captains: Cami Krzeminski, Emily Parsley, Anna Claire Siratt, and Tarrin Decker. These team leaders will be missed next year when they head off to college. Coach Weaver was proud of the team this weekend and commented many times that the team just came together and played fantastic hockey despite the loss.  Weaver was quoted as stating “Last year left a sour taste in my mouth but when your team comes together and plays as well as they did in the final game of the season you cannot be upset with their heart or effort.  I am incredibly proud of these 19 young women!”
